Kick starting in 2007 from Ho Chi Minh City, Vespa Adventures continues to run unique exciting tours, biking tourists in and around the city on iconic vintage Vespas, promising to provide them ‘the ride of your life’ till this day.

Lune Production, in cooperation with Vietnam Vespa Adventures, introduces you to the ultimate tours to explore Hanoi in depth and in the most stylish, exciting and unique way.

Package 1: The Insider’s Hanoi – See the unseen of Hanoi

Morning tour stats 8:00am | Afternoon tour stats 13:00pm | Lasts 4 – 4.5 Hours

The Insider’s Hanoi starts off sampling the local Café culture at our Italian style Café in the heart of the old quarter, overlooking Hanoi’s oldest church, to the famous French colonial style St. Joseph’s Cathedral.

We then set off for a ride through the city’s iconic narrow streets and head into the heart of the historic Old Quarter. Alighting at the railway tracks, we can see how the locals live & work, just centimetres from the train tracks in tall narrow houses.

After a short ride on the Vespas toward Huu Tiep Lake, we meet a fascinating elderly resident of the area who regales us with stories of the past in a 400-year-old temple. It’s then a short walk through traditional local market streets to see the B52 crash site at the lake. This US bomber was shot down during the 1972 bombing raids of Ha Noi, a poignant reminder of recent history.

It’s back on the Vespas for the ride to the Ngoc Ha Market and stroll around this huge, bustling place taking in the vibrant atmosphere that typifies Ha Noi.

We then ride out of the city to the Long Bien Bridge, a magnificent structure built over a hundred years ago which spans the Red River and connects Hoan Kiem and Long Bien districts, and provides shelter to locals living on boats underneath. Only motorbikes & bicycles can traverse, so off we go!

Our next ride takes us along the riverside as we whiz past the ancient dyke wall, beautifully decorated with mosaic artworks and on to a Kumquat Farm, located in a peaceful green agricultural oasis in the city. These little trees are traditional gifts at Tet, the Vietnamese Lunar New Year, and adorn every family home, symbolising luck, health, wealth, fertility and peace.

We then jump on the Vespas and head to our final spot, a special light snack before taking you back to your hotel.

Package 2: Hanoi’s After Dark Tour – A truly authentic Hanoi Style night out

Tour Runs nightly at 6:00pm | Last 4 – 4.5 Hours

Hanoi After dark starts at our stylish local Café with a cocktail and a delicious snack from one of the nearby night time vendors, before jumping on the back of the vintage Vespas. After weaving through the magical, busy back streets of the Old Quarter, we soon arrive at a fascinating local joint, right on the railway tracks (literally!) where we try some infused rice wine and a Buffalo Jerky appetizer.

It’s back riding through the narrow streets again, as we head toward our next foodie place, a lively local restaurant serving Bun Cha. This the quintessential, must taste Hanoi dish of rice noodles, grilled pork and meatballs, with a side of Nem (spring rolls). Simple but delicious.

We then head out of the Old Quarter and ride close by the lake toward our next venue, which is very famous in the neighborhood! We try the local specialty of Pho Cuon, and learn the art of wrap ‘n’ roll, Vietnamese style with these fresh & fragrant ingredients, and the Pho noodle!

A short ride on the Vespa takes us to our final port of call, next to the superb Opera House. The halcyon days of the 1930’s may be over, however, this Jazz Club will wow you with a truly unique blend of styles – 30’s style Jazz & traditional Vietnamese music!

We hope to welcome you soon!
